Mumbai, 2nd Nov. In a remarkable act of compassion, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde halted his convoy on the BKC bridge late on the night of November 1 to assist a seriously injured man following a motorcycle accident. The incident occurred as CM Shinde was traveling from Mumbai to Thane after a meeting at his official residence, Varsha Bangalow.
As his vehicle approached the bridge, Shinde noticed the injured individual lying on the roadway with a motorcycle nearby. Understanding the urgency of the situation, the Chief Minister ordered his convoy to stop and promptly exited the vehicle to assess the scene. Upon reaching the victim, he discovered that the man had sustained injuries from the accident.
Demonstrating quick thinking, Shinde called upon a team of doctors who were accompanying him. They immediately administered first aid to the injured motorcyclist and arranged for his transportation to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
This heartwarming display of empathy has garnered widespread attention, particularly after a video of the incident circulated on social media. The Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) confirmed the details and commended Shinde for his sensitivity, highlighting that even amid the busy pace of election campaigning, he showed genuine concern for the welfare of an injured person.
