New Delhi, 16 Jan: Marking the nine-year milestone of the StartUp India initiative, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi highlighted its transformative impact on India’s entrepreneurial landscape. Addressing the occasion, the Prime Minister stated that the program has empowered countless young innovators, helping them turn ideas into successful startups.
“Over the past nine years, StartUp India has redefined innovation, entrepreneurship, and growth,” Shri Modi remarked. “As far as the government is concerned, we have left no stone unturned to encourage a culture of startups.” He emphasized that this initiative exemplifies India’s transformation into a nation that is dynamic, confident, and future-ready.

He underscored the government’s consistent support for startups by ensuring Ease of Doing Business, increasing access to resources, and fostering innovation through incubation centers. “Our policies have focused on supporting them at every juncture,” he wrote.
